 Black Cat Café

The Black Cat Café was on the corner of Wigan Road and Deane Church Lane, above the corner shop, and the old sign is still visible on the brickwork.
The shop has been a fruiterers and florist for some years and previous owners were Ann Brabbin in 1932, D J Turner in 1955, Frederick Morris Aston in 1967, and Roy Grimshaw in 1970. However, the Black Cat Cafe is not listed in the old directories.
