Folds Road School
Demolished in the late 1990s, Folds Road School's most famous pupil was legendary footballer Tommy Lawton. The only remains of the school now are the gateposts depicting a range of curiously upmarket sporting activities.
How much tennis, fencing and croquet actually went on at Folds Road is open to debate... Football and cricket don't get a look in at all!
